2019 retrospective

Act/React had a massive 2019, with five shows across seven festivals.

Love/Hate Actually was the most performed, at Perth FringeWorld (January), Adelaide Fringe Festival (February), Newcastle Fringe Festival (March), Sydney Fringe Festival (September), and of course, became Act/React's Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut in August!

Raven On was a one-woman show inspired by Game of Thrones that debuted at Perth FringeWorld, then performed at the Brisbane Comedy Festival and a special one-off at the Old 505 Theatre in Sydney before Game of Thrones Season 8 began.

Titanic: The Movie, The Play was revived for the Anywhere Theatre Festival in Brisbane, performed onsite at the Queensland Maritime Museum in May. "Speed: The Movie, The Play" was a massive sell-out at the Sydney Fringe Festival in September.

"Die Hard: The Movie, The Play" debuted at the Wonderland Festival at the Brisbane Powerhouse in November to sell-out audiences. Thank you SO much to all of our amazing audiences. We could not do this without your support.

A special mention to our faithful backers, Elephant Boots Productions. Their support means the world to us. Make sure you get in touch with them if you're an independent creative performer in Brisbane, Australia.
