Tony Martin rides the bus in Melbourne

Act React had the great thrill of partnering with the City of Stonnington and Prahran Square to present a season of Speed: The Movie, The Play at Melbourne Fringe in October 2023.

One of our favourite comedians, Tony Martin, came along to see the show on Wednesday 11 October. Tony inspired many Act/Reactors through his radio shows Martin/Molloy and Get This, as well as his stand-up comedy, books and epic podcast Sizzletown.

Tony and his talented partner Sarina Rowell (creator of the great web series Shut Up) thoroughly enjoyed the show!

We also had a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it appearance on Network Ten as part of a news cross to the Prahran hub (see below), and scored another great write up by Australian Arts Review.

There’s some very silly action in Speed: The Movie, The Play, which led to a busload of satisfied passengers.

Thanks to everyone in Melbourne who turned out to ride the bus!
